Who am I?

My mind has been prey to the constant "showers of delusion" that religious, political, financial, and/or ideological platforms use for their own purposes. I am understanding more and more each day about this mind-moving power that very few people seem to want to discuss in length. I used to be the same way, but I am not that way anymore. Some say I have chosen the way of depression & sorrow, instead of marching in the land of ignorance & bliss. Well I say, "You stay in your land and I will stay in mine."

Why THIS world?

As I sit and stare at the ants moving to and fro, this way and that, searching or hunting for life sustaining supplies (I, of course, really have absolutely no idea what they are hunting.) my mind thinks about them compared to humans or even humans in comparison to animals.

We (humans) have created a “world or realm” that is directly against the natural world we live in. The ants don’t sway from this natural world nor do the animals, but we do. Why? What is in us that creates destructive and deadly materials? I.e. Alcohol, drugs, purposed genetic engineering, guns, nuclear weapons, cars and the list could go on. We have changed our atmosphere and environment (the only one we have, I might add) to one full of horrible substances and toxins. For what? Gain? What is it all for?

Why does it seem as if people do not want to see past their own noses (but would rather see only what is brewing in their own heads, their own opinions, their own ideas). I stare at animals, insects, birds, bees, and think about how they are one with creation; they don’t seem to have any “identity” problems with who they are, what they are, and what they are doing here.

But why is it that humans have created their own world to live in; one that is disconnected from the natural world we live in. What do we have inside of us that craves this separate, disconnected world?
